On Sunday June 13th several FBLA students from Warren Township High School in Gurnee, Illinois, including members of Aid Africa’s Children’s Junior Board, participated  in a fundraising car wash/ bake sale held at the Fifth/Third Bank in Gurnee @ Grand and Milwaukee Ave.  This event was planned and organized by the students, who showed their commitment and enthusiasm for funding a project to purchase audiovisual equipment for the library at Sjambok Primary School in the rural community of Erasmus, South Africa. The car wash/ bake sale brought in donations of $225.00.

Aid Africa’s Children Inc. has worked with helping this school of over 1000 students in an impoverished area for the past 4 years and was instrumental in funding a school meal program, implementing HIV/AIDS education programs and working with a local corporation to provide computers for their newly built computer lab.
